Platte County, Mo.

The Platte County labor shed is broad as the county draws employees from other counties in the metro area. There is also a high degree of commuting from St. Joseph (Buchanan County) to the north. County residents commute throughout the metro, but the bulk of the employment outside of Platte County is concentrated around downtown Kansas City, Mo.
